ARGODHA: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested 17 suspect persons, including 11 Afghan nationals, and recovered illegal weapons from them.
According to sources, police teams led by Sadar DSP Ghulam Abbas, SHO Atta Shaheed conducted operations in Chak No 47 SB, Chak No
45 SB and arrested 17 suspects.
Those arrested inc
lude Latif Khan, Allul Din, Daud, Ismail, Sarfraz, Sajid, Mumtaz, Zaheer khan, Ghazi Khan, Zareef Khan and Ali Khan. Cases have been registered against them under the Foreign Act. Similarly, Police have also recovered four guns of 12 bore fro
m Riaz Ahmed, Muhammad Asl
am, Ghafaar Ali and Muhammad Alam, residents of Chak 47 SB.
